2017 Toyota Corolla Gives You Toyota Safety Sense™ C Standard….

So You Can Do You With Confidence & Peace of Mind

In America, the car is synonymous with freedom—the freedom to go and do what you want, when you want. If you’re looking for that kind of freedom in the areas of Mamaroneck, Yonkers, New Rochelle, White Plains, Rye, or Port Chester, we’ve got the perfect traveling companion for you: the 2017 Toyota Corolla. Not only will it get you where you’re going in style and comfort, you’ll also enjoy the peace of mind that comes from standard Toyota Safety Sense™ C (TSS-C)—because you shouldn’t have to compromise on your vehicle’s safety, and Toyota won’t ask you to.

The 2017 Toyota Corolla Offers Standard Toyota Safety Sense™ C (TSS-C), But What Does That Include?

  • Pre-Collision System with Vehicle Detection (PCS): Perhaps the most important feature in the TSS-C package, this system makes use of a front-facing camera on your vehicle to recognize any vehicle obstacles in front of you. If the system detects a vehicle in your path, it will let you know both visually with an alert as well as audibly with a beeping sound. If you put on the brakes in time, the system will use Brake Assist to generate the appropriate stopping power. If you aren’t able to apply the brakes in time and the system determines a crash is likely, it throw the brakes for you.
  • Lane Departure Alert (LDA): The road can be distracting, and if you’ve ever encountered the rumble strip on the side of a highway then you know how scary it can be to suddenly find yourself drifting from the constraints of your lane. That’s where this feature comes in. If the system notices you drifting from the marked bounds of your lane, you’ll receive both a visual and audible alert, so you can refocus on the road ahead of you. It’s a bit like having a build-in rumble strip just for you.
  • Automatic High Beams (AHB): We’ve all been on the receiving end of someone else’s high beams, and the experience can be a little frightening because high beams can temporarily blind you or disorient you. This system attempts to mitigate that for other drivers on the road by detecting the head- or taillights of vehicles in front of you and changing over from your high beams to your low beams so you don’t blind the oncoming driver. It’s not just more considerate, it’s safer.

Consistently, whether it’s individual drivers or families, safety ranks as one of the top priorities in a new vehicle purchase, which is why we’re so proud to represent the Toyota lineup, which has made TSS-C or TSS-P standard across the almost all of the 2017 lineup and beyond. Those drivers interested in the 2017 Corolla can give us a call to schedule a test drive or simply come visit us in our showroom to get some hands-on experience with these life-saving technologies.
